ADORA KISTING'S CAREER IS OVER

The Nama Artist from Keetmanshoop said on a radio interview that the reason why she feels she has made it in the music industry is because she has worked for it, "Ek het my gat af gewerk", The reason why I'm on the poster where Tiwa-Savage will be performing in Namibia is because 'WHEN MY PEOPLE ARE INVITED TO PERFORM, THEY EITHER COME DRUNK OR DONT PITCHED AT ALL". The term "my people" is referring to her tribe, the Nama/Damara speaking artist.

They say sex sells so the girl went exposing her body instead of making soulful music and now insulting the very same people who made her who she is today. SHEEEEMMM!
The Nation took it to social media and demand that her music be banned from the Keisames also known as the Damara/Nama station.
The Chocolate singer is a pastor's daughter who used to sing in a dual gospel choir who went solo a couple of years back and as a musician and a pastor's daughter, one would never expect her to bad mouth her own clan, But then again what can one expect from a Good Girl Gone Bad. This happened just a few hours before the world radio day.

Tell us what your thoughts are by commenting on these stories and more.

She took it also to social media and wrote this bible.

RE: Clarity on going buzz about my remarks
My contribution was in specifics only within the confines of artistic conduct and as professional of our own shortcoming. As a brand I must most sincerely tender my apology for the mistuned and the subsequent interpretation other than what my core message was ,which showing up on time, avoiding being intoxicated on stage, having a knowledgeable management team, and being hard working. As this may play an influence in how our clients may perceive us.
The assertions made and linkages of any association towards race or ethnicity, it is not a value, principality, moral compass upon which the Adora brand is built on, unfortunately it depicts that we are yet to move passed tribal lines. The sensitivity thereof has blown this situation out of context.
Adora as a brand, I stand firmly for advocating, truth, empowerment, social up-liftment and peaceful cohesion, but most importantly the advancement of the music industry – To the benefit of the entire society and those to come after us.
I further want to urge that this is an industry issue not a political issue.
In retrospection, I have taken note of the comments/suggestions and advice from industry peers – and I wish to assure the public and my fans – my unreserved apology for the direction that my comments appear to have taken.
We can only nurture and grow together – and as a child of this beautiful country I can only say to my fans and all I will continue sharing my love and passion for this industry with you as has been the case for the last 15 years.
Long live the Namibian Music Industry
